Overview
About Me
Originally from Canada, moved to Berlin, my favourite city, at the end of 2010 with no job, no friends, and no German. Have built a great life here since and love to share it with friends, new and old.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a voracious traveler, both for fun and work, and seem to have never grown out of the backpacker phase, always preferring hostels and shared spaces over fancy hotels. Love meeting new people -- travel for me is about living like and with the locals for a bit rather than seeing the sights.
Interests
All the usual stuff (music, films...), literature, gins and tonic, animals, vegetarian food, dancing badly for long stretches to deep house music at Berlin's famous clubs, and (quite in opposition to the last point) a good night's sleep.
