I'm currently an astronomy grad student, which takes up most of my time, but when I do get a free moment I really enjoy outdoor activities, carpentry, and brewing.

DIY pretty much sums me up - I like exploring everything. I try to keep an open and flexible mind about things, I don't hold too fast to any given philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and have new experiences. Being an astronomer, I travel a lot for work. A lot of people take short vacations on these trips, but I think that meeting local people is a much better experience than just staying in hotels.

Right now my housing situation in Boston doesn't allow me to host people frequently, but when I move this coming year, I hope to return everyone's kindness and start hosting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences and perspective on the world. I grew up in a small town, and meeting new people from couch surfing has totally changed my perspective on people and life. Its really amazing to just talk with people and share our thoughts on things.

I also love to cook and can share recipes/cook you traditional Southern food from the US.
