Overview
About Me
I am a Master's student in International Security at the University of Denver. My interests include cyber and space security issues and foreign policy. Outside of school, I enjoy all the great outdoor activities Colorado offers. In the summer, I try to get to the mountains at least once a week for hiking. In the winter I enjoy skiing too. I'm also an avid biker. I really enjoy reading and keeping up with the most recent news....even if everything seems to be terrible. I have been trying to get in to soccer (futball) for the past few years and I think this is the year where I finally go all in. Over the past few years, I have done many roads trips in the U.S. and have enjoyed traveling across the country. I have traveled internationally before in Europe and am looking forward to returning.
Outside of interests, I'm a pretty easy going guy. I've been told I'm sarcastic and have a dry sense of humor. I can be quiet at first, but once I am comfortable in a situation, I can be more talkative. I enjoy telling jokes, even though most of them are pretty dumb. I'm always clean and respectful of other people's time and space.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This summer, I will be returning to Norway and Sweden for three weeks to travel. When I lived in Norway four years ago, I spent most of my time in the Oslo area. It was a great time and I enjoyed exploring the Norwegian capital, but did not get to see more of the country. I'm using Couchsurfing to explore new places and meet interesting people. I think using Couchsurfing is not only an excellent way to travel, but also to meet people and get an experience unlike traditional travel.
