About Me
I working west of Boston, but love to travel both domestically and internationally. I'm a big fan of hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, and other activities, but enjoy learning the ins and outs of new cities and regions. I grew up on the west coast in central California.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and meet new people while I do. I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet and really get to know open-minded people and be able to take full advantage of their local knowledge of their favorite places to go and eat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I caught one of the world's deadliest spiders (Brazilian Wandering Spider, a.k.a. Banana Spider) while in the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador... I misidentified it as a tarantula (mostly harmless), and attempted to catch it in a small Tupperware container with my bare hands. Luckily, it worked! I avoided a bite, held the spider to show my mates, then released it. A bite would have caused severe pain, possible paralysis, possible coma, and possible extended and painful erection! XD
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a vast knowledge and library of music. I actively play guitar. I can teach you how to skip a rock on water (9 skips is my max!). I was a mapmaker for a year, and would love to share my knowledge of spatial awareness. I'm wilderness first aid certified and can teach you things I know about backcountry safety and emergency response. Always trying to learn more so I can share with others!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a fresh college graduate paying off student loans, so I don't have a lot to share... but I am in a small postcard sharing group. Whenever I travel to new and/or exciting places, I'd love to send postcards to former hosts and vice versa!
