I am a 26 year old dude living just outside downtown Grand Rapids. I live in a house with my girlfriend and two permanent cats (we frequently foster kittens but it's always changing). My girlfriend is a teacher and I am a speech language pathologist. We love to hang out, play music, cook, and go out to the bars.

I love progressive/post rock, hip-hop, and some electronic. I have a jam spot in my basement so if you are a musician you'll fit right in, if not, then sit back and listen =)

I love comedies and dramas, but I have a special love for war stories.

I read a lot, from classics such as Vonnegut and Hemingway to modern authors such as Joseph Boyden. Historical fiction is my favorite genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Somehow made it through grad school. I also made a pretty mean butternut squash ale, twice.
