ABOUT ME

CRAZY!!! RUN!!! Okay maybe I am just a fun Canadian who enjoys travelling. I finished my Masters in Fashion and have a Commerce business degree too. My favourite colour is Red and I like sunsets :) I have lived in fraternity houses and royalty's houses so I like to think clean, always be a blast and remain easy going.

PHILOSOPHY

Attitude is everything. Just breathe and let God do the rest. And, don't eat yellow snow!

Just kidding, treat others the way you like to be treated. I often bring chocolate or wine, though have also helped others out with their fashion and if in a city for a fashion week always try to bring my host along. (Who doesn't love a good party!) If ever wanting to learn English or anything Business communication related let me know :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I previously have had people spend the night with me before, not through a formal arrangement and like meeting people in trips, so why not offer a place to stay!!! Likewise, I have picked up hitch hikers and given them rides. People are amazing, you just need to give them a chance. Also, showing kindness is never a bad idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have spent the night on people's couches a few times, I always try to clean the room I stay in to be better than I left it. Or if it is already pretty clean, then offer to make breakfast, or dinner, or both :) (I love cooking)

I love a little bit of everything. I grew up just outside Edmonton Alberta Canada so a rural farm environment, however, have lived in Toronto, New York, London and a ton of other places. I enjoy designing, investing, cooking, biking, hiking, soccer (Football outside North America), singing really loudly, clubbing, a bit of reading and relaxing.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Most recently I just finished 'Buy-ology' by Martin Lindstrom, all about how the brain and mind operate when purchasing/experiencing items or ideas. Music I listen almost everything, seriously from Rap to classical with country and soul in between, it really depends on my mood and what I am doing. (I help the music industry by designing record labels)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I worked in the Prime Minister of Canada's office a while ago, yet almost ten years later in the UK the former PM's wife remembered me and called out to me to come say hello. (It meant I was amazing at my job, which makes me really proud)

Travelling wise, I have climbed the Canadian Rockies, the Swiss Alps, and Icebergs in Iceland but my favourite thing has been taking the sound of music tour in Austria. It was hilarious to sing along and visit all the sights of where the movie was made. Seeing the Sydney Opera House and belting out a toon was another major highlight... I between going to Japan or Antarctica for my next adventure.

I would be happy to show Adobe suite to anybody interested; photoshop, illustrator, indesign, aftereffects..etc I do personal styling and can share tips, go through a closet of clothing/ or simply go shopping together to find the right outfit... I am pretty good at it and have dressed people of all sorts, Big/Small, Short Tall, Famous/ or Not...
