Hi, my name is Ryan, I'm 23 years old and am from Leeds in the UK. From the end of June 2023 I'm taking a sabbatical from work for a year to travel and explore the world. While I'm away, I'm really keen to experience new cultures and get to know places from a local's perspective!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy getting to know new people, sharing stories and learning about each others lives, so I'd love to have the opportunity to do this as much as I can during my time away. Then hopefully one day I can return the favour and host new friends in the UK!

I've always had a passion for learning new things and am a big lover of the outdoors and going on hikes and adventures in the countryside, mountains or at the coast. I also enjoy reading, swimming, running and eating good food :)

I'm qualified to teach English as a foreign language so can help you with your English skills if you wish. It would be great to learn about your local area and how to make some local food dishes!
