Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like I could meet interesting people by offering my couch to them, and I'd like to be able to use this resource in case I ever need it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of folk punk music (Pat the Bunny and his bands, Ghost Mice, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Moon Bandits, Cottontail, etc), other punk music (Anti Flag, Leftover Crack, Choking Victim, etc), hip hop groups such as The Coup, and a lot of other political music. I like other music, too, but my favorite stuff is the political stuff. My favorite books include everything by J.D. Salinger and everything by Frank McCourt. Movies are a bit more difficult for me to think of, but as of recently I really like "Boyhood" and "Dear White People."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently (as of when I'm writing this post), I wrote and performed a performance art piece called "Post Fap Depression" wherein, at some point, I theatrically pretended to masturbate in front of about 50 or so people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to play basic chords on the guitar! And, uh, I can teach people ... how to do basic philosophical logic. And uhhhhh, I can teach..... well, fuck, if you want me to teach you something, just ask, and if I have the ability to do so, I'll do it. Feel free to share with me things you want to learn, even if you don't think I'd be able to teach you it, and maybe, just maybe, I WILL be able to, in which case, I freaking will. Also, I just remembered that I can teach people how to juggle.

What can I learn from you? Hopefully at least I can learn a little bit about who you are, and you'll probably learn a bit about me, and I'll probably learn a bit about who *I* am, and who knows, maybe some life lessons, maybe some skills, maybe the answer as to how to live the happiest, most fulfilling life possible.

What can we share? Our lives, our experiences, our wisdom, our love, our couches, our homes. Probably other things.
