I am a 23 year old newly wed straight out of K-town, Utah. There are few things I love more than traveling. I want to see the whole world, you name a place, I would love to go there. I am of the LDS faith and I served a full-time two year mission in Taiwan. That was the greatest experience of my life. During that time I was able to learn Mandarin Chinese and fall in love with the culture and more importantly the people of Asia.

I am on Couchsurfing because I love to travel and I love to meet new people. Is there any better reason to be on here than that?

Interests

My passion is rock climbing. In my younger days I was an avid skateboarder and snowboarder, but these two sports have wrecked my body. I feel like I'm in the body of a 90 year-old some of the time. I also love music, but who doesn't? I play some instruments, but I'm not too good at any of them. Haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love The Shins, Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird, Seabear, Radical Face, Electric President, Fleet Foxes, Modest Mouse, Sigur Ros, Ra Ra Riot, Iron and Wine, Gregory Allen Isakov, and many, many more. I guess you could say I like the soft stuff. Anything similar to indie-folk I would most likely be a fan.

I will be straight up with you right now, I love a good Rom-Com. I also love Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, anything Marvel or DC. One of my favorite movies of all time is "Almost Famous." If you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend it.

I love the Book of Mormon. There is much wisdom in that book. Other than that I love "The Alchemist." I read it in one day and it changed my life forever. Another book I highly recommend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been skydiving. That was one of the coolest things I've ever done.

I don't know how great of a teacher I am but I know that I love to learn, especially about different people, culture, and languages. I have a real interest in human cultures and how different people do things.
