I'm Ryan. I'm 26 years old and I live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I own a couple ice cream shops on the beaches here and work seasonally serving up some sweet treats! In the off season I try to travel to other countries surfing or doing work exchange.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the traveler community and how everyone helps each other out. I've leant my couch out along the way to help others because I've had so many people be so good to me the past few years.

For the time being, I don't really have a home base of my own so I don't host often through CS. So I am reaping the benefits of Couchsurfing without being able to pay much forward right now. I plan on paying all the hospitality forward once I have a place of my own where I can welcome travelers into my home!
