After doing my own 7 month solo U.S. trip using Couchsurfing I am looking to have this kind of experience again with my loving girlfriend Briana overseas. Briana has not couch surfed herself but is a wonderful and open person who blends well in any environment. We will both be kind and courteous to whomever would be gracious to host us. Looking to do adventures all together. We are both very into nature, music, food and cultural experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before joining couch surfing I was writing letters to different Masters in Counseling programs. While I was writing these letters and looking into different programs I never felt comfortable with what I was doing. After some soul searching I realized that going to grad school was not where I wanted to be and that I had a stronger urge to experience life more and to travel. I believe the best way to experience any place is to see it through the eyes of the locals. Along with that I am interested in the different ways of life and thinking that the people of this country have. I could go on trip advisor and look up the "touristy spots" for any place but that's not what I'm interested in. I'm interested in the way of life and the behind the scenes stories that each place has.

My favorite movie is The Dark Knight and am a big fan of documentaries of any kind.

Anything written by Paulo Coehlo or Ram Dass is gold to me. I’m a fan of books that involve spirituality, dreams and self realization.
