Overview
About Me
I've spent the last few years having the time of my life hitchhiking travelling around Europe a bit, and then one year of living and busking on the streets of Barcelona. As I write this I'm currently back in Northern Ireland for a little while.
I like to think of myself as a pretty open minded guy. For the best part of 10 years my biggest passion has been parkour and freerunning although when I'm not doing that I enjoy playing music, juggling and a little interest in photography here and there but not enough to call myself a photographer. In general I just like trying new things, having new experiences and doing things that allow me to meet new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love meeting new, like-minded people and Couchsurfing offers this in a very sincere way because it requires trust and kindness on both sides.
I'd love to be able to host people in the future but for now, but for now my current living situation simply doesn't make that possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: From Nine Inch Nails to Aesop Rock to Fink. Pretty much everything. I was raised on heavy metal and 90s grunge. These days I've been listening to a lot of hip-hop or more chilled 'alternative' stuff.
Movies: The Crow, The Big Lebowski, Fight Club, Wayne's World. Any movie that's captivating enough to take me out of my own life and make me forget I'm watching a movie, is a good movie.
Books: I've recently been rather taken by the works of George Orwell (I know what you're thinking, cliche! But no I wasn't made to study him in school! So this is a genuine interest). 1984 is an obvious one to list but at the moment I'm reading Homage To Catalonia, his autobiography about his time in the Spanish Civil War. So far it's a very interesting read albeit a little dry in Orwell's writing style!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- In 2015/2016 spent 5 months hitchhiking through Spain and the Canary Islands, once again homeless and on a severe budget. We lived in a cave, lived in an abandoned waterpark, hitchhiked on to a sailing boat and more experiences that felt totally unexpected and new to me. I know 5 months isn't a very long time for travelling but this was such an incredible and unique experience for me and a huge learning curve for me. It was essentially the beginning of what became my lifestyle in the following years
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to learn any or all new things. I can teach a little bit of parkour, juggling and guitar. Maybe a few other random things too
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I say I'm a good cook you'll have all these expectations of a gourmet meal, and who am I to say how good a cook I am anyway! Instead what I'll say is that I enjoy cooking whether or not I'm good at it, and am willing to try and cook something for you! Or we could cook together! Whichever works!
On a good day I might even do a backflip or climb stuff for your entertainment
And if you need any photos or videos taken, I'm your guy!
