I am 26year old Scottish guy working in Germany but will be travelling around as part of my job. I enjoy hiking, good food and a bottle of beer to end the day with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to find a new way of travelling, to make new international friends and hopefully lifelong pals. Usually i stay in hostels and love meeting and chatting with people in the common areas but it would be great to get to know people better, enjoy a beer and wander around their city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up the top of Jiuwufeng in Taiwan and watched the sun set over Taipei city and bring in my 22nd birthday!

Jumped out of a plane on my own for the first time.

I really enjoy sharing music over a beer! I love to learn languages and i usually try to get some of the basic words down should i be in your country, but i will most definitely ask you for some more! Ive learnt a few in my time of travelling inc. Japanese and i speak German at an basic level. I’m a scientist so I love all topics of science and innovation. It’s also my job :)
