My name is Ryan, I am a 26 year old Canadian currently completing a MA in International Security at the University of Bath in the UK. I love travelling and my dog rufus, if you want to know anything else just ask.

While studying abroad I am trying to travel and see as much of what Europe has to offer. I feel although staying in a hostel is nice, the opportunity to stay with someone who actually lives in the city is much more authentic and could result in a much cooler experience.

兴趣

I am really interested in watches, formula 1, football and the gym. So if there happens to be a race or a match on lets grab a beer and watch it. I have played sports all my life, hockey since before I could walk (hailing from Canada its a requirement), football, volleyball, golf, baseball, paintball, handball and ultimate frisbee, etc. So I am always keen for a game of pick up if you need a body. I also stay active so if you need a gym buddy or a spotter I can be of service. I am also starting to get into photography, which has really changed the way i travel and try and spend my time in places. I am fascinated with exploring new areas and trying to get interesting shots that maybe not everybody has already taken, so if you are into that maybe we could shoot together.

In terms of music I am pretty much into everything, if you are curious what I am listening to at the moment have a look at my soundcloud profile.
Movie wise my favorite is Remember the Titians, followed by Super Troopers and basically anything David Attenborough narrates.
When it comes to books I often prefer to spend my spare time doing other things, I am constantly reading for my course so reading for pleasure has come to a halt unless it is on reddit.

Uprooting my life and moving across the Atlantic. Since arriving in the UK I have visited more countries, met incredible people and seen some truly amazing sights. Without taking a loan and chasing my academic dreams none of this would have happened.

Honestly anything, you never know what you may learn from someone and when it might come in handy. Travelling has been an incredible opportunity to witness the beauty of this planet and see the world through different lenses. I am always looking to learn new things, take down recommendations on places to see, things do and try, or share experiences with people.
