I live in a small town in Ukraine working as a teacher for the Peace Corps, a volunteer program. Obviously I thoroughly enjoy traveling, as well as most sports but hockey most of all, try my hand at cooking, and do not mind stumbling my way through a broken version of whatever the local language is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am eager to see the parts of wherever I visit that cannot be found on tripadvisor or any site, but rather a nook of a town or unbeatable place to eat that only a local would know. As far as traveling goes, I think that meeting new people and interacting with them is among the best reasons to get out to somewhere new.
