About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to accommodate traveling musicians because I am myself a musician. I've traveled all around the States and would have loved to have known about this website. I just want to provide a peaceful, safe and fun place to stay and jelly.

ABOUT ME

I awake. I dress. I work. I play music. I read. I am patient. I love to debate. I grew up in Boston. Went to a methodist church as a child and quickly became dissatisfied with the answers I got regarding life, so I moved onto science and philosophy. I am a musician who can't make ends meet so I have a 9 to 5 as a maintenance tech for a building in downtown Boston. I am usually reading, practicing guitar, watching documentaries or thinking about a project to undertake. I like to talk about all the things your parents said you shouldn't bring up in polite company. Religion and politics are number one on my list. I like to know what people believe and why. I do not get offended. I don't yell. I love altered states. I like tolerant people. Anyone with a closed mind please do not reply. No offense (I know you're probably pretty cool and stuff) but if you are not a traveling musician or artist type I most likely will not respond. If I decline you without explanation assume it is that. This is purely an attempt at saving time sending out apologetic emails.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what thou wilt without fraud, coercion, or force. RESPECT.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host as of now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommates have had several couchsurfers. It's fun. I've enjoyed almost all our visitors and have made some good connections that I will hopefully explore in the near future. Seems to me that couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and make short or lifelong connections. Keep em coming!!

Interests

Music, philosophy, science, politics, religion, movies. In regards to music I am currently accumulating as much music theory knowledge as possible in order to teach young kids and beginners guitar. Life I believe is the quest to find your own philosophy. If you can tune out all the "know it alls" you just might be that much closer to knowing it all! (if that makes any sense lol...) As a musician I am very curious to how sounds/vibrations manipulate brain waves and create feelings. I beleive there is one or many things unseen to humans that connect us all, just havent found it yet. Politically I lean more towards the libertarian side of things but I also acknowledge that no political ideology is perfect so I guess I am an anarchist in a sense that I think people should be free to organize their own systems based on the needs of their own community with respect to all others. Hope this was helpful. If I left anything out please feel free to ask.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Seven, Snatch, Fear and Loathing, Lots of sci-fi, physics-defying action movies, Old Indiana Jones, There will Be Blood, 12 Monkeys, Monty Python, A Mighty Wind, Best In Show, Spinal Tap, so many more I can't think of at the moment and documentaries. Music: blues, jazz, metal, punk, hardcore, prog rock classical... all genres of music have their worthy players and I like to find them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in St. thomas. Never knew, never lived til you tried it... I've seen big waves and little fish, hot rays and exotic dish, deep caverns and haughty tots, public taverns and tiny cots, strangers with respect and friends that lost grip, crowds of dissent and love complacent, but the most amazing thing that comes to mind is the connection of all through nature, space, and time. ha!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach: Guitar, carpentry, plumbing, some American and occult history.
Id like to learn: to cook and whatever skills anyone would like to share. I will share whatever I got with you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
