About Me

Really sorry but I can't accept anyone at the moment. New city, new housemate etc etc, and it sucks because I have a sweet pad walking distance from the center of time.

CURRENT MISSION

To dislike inspirational quotes :)

ABOUT ME

It takes a special type of weird to actually do it, to participate in this scene, and that is the type of weird that I like, It warms my heart. I don’t want this to get all mushy so lets get down to the '411' about myself.

One thing I can do very well is talk, I ramble and go on and on and on but it is with a big smile, I am loud, I am a very loud person, I drink, I laugh a lot, I fall in love all the time, I eat too much, I sweat quite a bit, I have a pretty different sense of humour, I love the kitchen, I love to travel, I love my bike, I love your bike, I am very loyal, I get over excited, I fit too much into too little time, I'm left wing, I tend to burn myself out all the time, I have passion, I try to have conviction, and there is always a pinch of laughter with a cheeky wicked smile. These are also the people who I try to surround myself with, oh and I'd like to think I am a burner but sometimes I forget about the 10 principles.

I have been living here in Canberra since November 2014, so not very long. Before that I was in Sydney for 2 years, got made redundant and got a job out here. Both times I had to move, originally from Brisbane was killing me, it was sucking my soul out of me. and From Sydney as I had to keep the money flowing in, and keep on working career etc. I wasnt going to sit around, and I found a nice job out here.
Canberra so far? So far so good, it is small, but at the same time it has most of the scenes of the big cities, just micro sized, and they overlap. There are more things going on here then what meets they eye, you just need to know people, OR be good online at searching for things!

Sydney though is an amazing city, if you can afford it! There is always so much going on and I’ll be more than happy to try and help you find what you want to do/what to see/who to do/whatever you want to do.

Let me know where you are heading in Australia and I 'should' know someone close by, or might be able to point you in the direction of a few people/places.

Come on in and make yourself at home! This is a home not a house!

This is a safe house for people of all persuasions.

PHILOSOPHY

If you enjoyed your time then it was not wasted!

Always write long requests!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I open my house to you dirty travelers, I go to events, I surf when I travel, and I try to convert people into hosting!

I do what I can when I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Each one is different, good, bad, and indifferent. But they are all really good in the end.

Interests

Big fan of pop-culture! Even bigger fan of the Burningman culture and people. I'm more into finding a funky little area to sit down, looking at street art, to climb into an abandon building, running off with some nice randoms I meet, to be best friends with people I don't know, learning as much as I can, talking, sinking a good bottle of red or white at some place with a good vibe, with housemates, with friends. Now that is totally random and across the board isn't it?

Another quick run down of my loves:
Denmark - House Parties - Hip to the hop music -Bartending - Eating out - Eating in - Eating - Tea - Coffee - Coffeeee - COOOOFFFFEEEE -Street art -Cooking!!!!!!!!!!! - Incorrectly using punctuation - Making fun of everything -Talking complete shit -Bikes - Rock climbing - Tattoos - Piercings - Bikes.

I don't mind my job, and my job can unfortunately puts a rather large dampener on alllll of the above. I end up working from early to late and sometimes over weekends depending on the jobs we have at the time. But I still try and give it a crack, I manage to live it out generally when I go traveling which I try to do once a year for a bit.
