Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving the world really. Right now that means being a Biology grad student, and hopping around the world on various missions.
ABOUT ME
Well I grew up a suburban kid with a lingering sense of something greater out there. Learning about Environmental Science let me get out into the world, and boy, were my suspicions well founded. Battling an jellyfish invasion in Germany, chasing butterflies in Canada, living with monkeys in Ethiopia and Madagascar, I have decided resoundingly that I love the outdoors. But people are always the originators of some my greatest experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
Karma (is that lame? Well I'm going with it anyway. Definitely a universal law)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host people whenever I can and I am currently moving to Oxford, England to begin my PhD - looking for some couchsurfing experience there!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been on couches. Offered up couches. It's been fairly reciprocal.
Interests
Outdoorsy stuff, travelling (solitary soul searching type style or having a good time with friends meeting people), harmonica and bass guitar, my dog, photography, hockey obviously, biking, skiing, maple syrup.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a Serval Cat and an endangered Ethiopian Wolf frolic through the high altitude grassland in Ethiopia. Sharing a sunset and a concert with friends under the sultry summer air. Every second in the wild when you can smell the freedom.
