About Me
New to couchsurfing but not to traveling! So consider me experienced :P
I am a son, a brother, a friend, a traveler, a foodie, an avid scuba diver, an improv actor, a salsa dancer, a reader, and a lover of new and exciting adventures!. I am very laid back and chill and love to go with the flow. 'YES' is my favorite word in the English language and I will try anything twice! (you never know if your tastes have changed and you may like it the second time).
I try to show compassion and understanding for every way of life. I don't judge and try to realize when I am judging. I live in the moment and don't regret anything. I want to live life to the fullest and I am always saying yes to the universe and making my dreams come true.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Latin music, salsa, bachata, cumbia, etc but also singer songwriters, also, I LOVE funk and Soul. I love a good gritty dark drama when it comes to movies good comedies are hard to come by these days. I do love books but don't read much. Some favorites: The Power of Now, Things Fall Apart, Love in the Time of Cholera, One Hundred Years of Solitude, and I love the poetry of Pablo Neruda.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A 5 day trek to Machu Picchu, the Salkantay Trail. It was so challenging but the views were incredible and I felt so in touch with nature and really felt the importance of the region and legacy of the Incas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about scuba, theatre and improv. Also, could probably engage in productive discussions on politics, economics and development. I also am a travel expert in South America so I know a lot of destinations, hotels, logistics, etc. Also, I have traveled extensively in Europe and Asia and am happy to share my experiences to help plan trips and reminisce on amazing destinations.
I really want to learn other languages. My Spanish is fluent, I want to work on my minimal Mandarin and any other language that is out there! I also would love to learn about food and cooking, particularly that which is distinctive to a culture. I think cuisine is one of the most interesting and delicious aspects of a culture. I also want to learn to surf, I want to start doing yoga and take salsa dancing lessons.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences in South America or other places in the world, my English or Spanish skills. Also I can help plan trips or answer questions about any destination of the over 30 could tries I've been to. Also I wash dishes and clean too ;)
