Hello my name is Ryan! I love to travel and explore new places. Hiking, camping, cycling, and climbing are some of my favorite things to do, but really anything outdoors is fine with me! I'm a big fan of sharing stories, cooking and sharing meals, and of course, meeting new people and having new experiences.

I live in Prince George with my partner Meghan in a small basement apartment right downtown, we don't really have much room, and we're usually pretty busy during the week so meeting up might be a better option. What we can offer you is good food, good conversation and good advice about places to check out in the area. If you're into outdoorsy things we can even take you on some of the many awesome hikes in the area. We would both appreciate some degree of advance notice, as Meghan works full time during the week, and my work often takes me out of town to pretty remote places so internet access can be limited. I know it can be hard when you're travelling but please do the best you can.

I'm pretty open when it comes to music, there's a time and place for every genre. As to movies, I like dramas and thrillers but I'm also a fan of quirky witty comedies as well! For books, it's hard to list a favorite because there are so many of them!

I really like bicycle touring. I've done three tours now, one in 2013 through the east coast of Canada, a solo one just recently throughout Japan and South Korea and one in Hawaii. I carried everything on my bike and camped most of the way, I can't wait to do more!

I would be more than happy to teach you some English if you need it, or if you want to learn a new card game I have a few up my sleeve. I can also teach you a bit about Canada and give you good advice on neat places to check out!

I'm not the best cook, but I wouldn't say I'm a bad one either. I would be more than happy to help cook and a share a good meal. Sharing stories and laughs is also something I can do too!
