ABOUT ME

Hey Im Ryan, im 23 years old, 5"9 and about 70kg for all you that needed my 'Personal Description' ;)

I love long walks on the beach, my favourite movie is The Notebook and I love cleaning.....just kidding.

I left my job in 'corporate world' working within the Financial Services Industry in Sydney CBD on 1st July 2012 after 5 years of full time work. Being a stock broker has its ups and downs. However since I've left it has been the best and most life changing thing I've ever done. I feel so free and haven't looked back since.

It has always been a personal goal of mine to see the world, experience its beautiful people and have the time of my life while doing so!

My plan is to see 25 countries in the 1-2 years I'm away.

I'll be covering Asia (3 months) - North, Central, South America (6 months) - Europe (3 months)

The hardest part about leaving home, was the time away from my beautiful friends and family. Thank all 15 of you for coming to the airport with me on that sad Monday night to say good bye. I miss you all very much. I'd say they would describe me as a massive ball of fun, an open person with a genuine caring side towards people.

I'm most likely that guy at the party who isn't happy until everyone is having a good time and enjoying themselves :)

Interests

I love nutrition, health and travel. If your someone who loves food or likes to try keep healthy and fit, I really get a kick out of helping people with diet/nutrition advice, or if you just want to overall try lead a healthier lifestyle I'm your man! (However, I do drink alcohol while I'm away, ha!)

I believe in this world, and within this great community of couchsurfing that has been created, you can really help by giving back to the hosts in anyway possible. Whether its a fun night out together, a quiet beer on a sunny day or just some great quality conversation. Im more than happy to meet you all and have a great time together.
