Overview
About Me
I'm very friendly, respectful, creative, and, although I can be a bit shy upon first meeting someone, once I get to know them I am very open and outgoing. I like to think I'm funny though people who have spent A LOT of time with me and have heard all my amazing jokes many, many times might disagree. I am a fledgling writer, I play guitar but just barely, and not to be too cocky, but I could probably take you in music trivia. I'm also very interested in learning other people's stories - there are so many amazing people in the world, and I have so much to learn from them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard about Couchsurfing a few years ago from a friend who had used it. I made a profile and had a look around, and though it looked wicked, I was in school, and wasn't able to do any travelling, and I haven't really logged back on since. Now, however, I've got some time to travel, and I'm planning on taking a trip to California in April, and hope to finally start seeing what this "Couchsurfing" business is like.
Interests
Stories, rock n roll, "Survivor," cheap sunglasses, good tea, intriguing conversations and funny people.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Weezer (mostly just the early stuff), Oasis (again: mostly just the early stuff), The Beatles (mostly just all the stuff), Sam Roberts (mostly just the stuff that's in English), the Weakerthans (mostly just the stuff with really good words), Joel Plaskett (mostly just the Canadian-sounding stuff), and Hollerado (mostly just all the stuff, again, but especially "Got to Lose.").
MOVIES: "Stand By Me," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Midnight in Paris," and these days, especially, for a few different reasons, "Boyhood."
BOOKS: "Holes," "The Catcher in the Rye," Kerouac (but like coffee - only in small doses), Lemony Snicket, and anything at all by Shel Silverstein.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once rode a Greyhound bus west for 3 days until I got to California, just not necessarily by the time you'll be reading this.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH: I know some chords on guitar, I know how to write stories, and I know how to make a mean grilled cheese.
LEARN: I would love to learn more about other people, and whatever stories they have to tell.
SHARE: I can share laughs and good conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can give my hosts a quiet, respectful, flexible stay. I can share my own stories with them, and I can make them laugh, and I can be creative with them. And I think if I share myself openly and honestly, I can share a happy memory with them that will last for a long, long while.
