I can get down with just about anything. I'm always open to try something new, be it a crazy food or an experience, and I can find the light in most dark situations. I believe we all have something to teach each other, and learning is probably my favorite hobby. School and I weren't exactly the best of friends but I love to learn on my own time. Conversations with intelligent, open-minded people are my kind of conversations. I'll talk about anything from sports to astral projection, from music to the end of the universe. Life has so much to offer and I want to experience as much of it as possible before my soul departs my body. I'm new to this whole Couchsurfing thing but I've heard mostly awesome stories, and the ones that weren't so awesome were only mildly annoying at worst. I'm thrilled to meet all of you fellow Couchsurfers whether you're a host or staying at my place.

The only part of the world that I've seen in person has been around the Great Lakes and I'm really eager to see what else is out there. I've decided to quit my job and sell my car to see the beauty that the United States (and one day the rest of the world) has to offer. I'm roughly two months from my departure date as I'm writing this and the thought of packing up and experiencing true freedom from the 9-5 is unparalleled to anything that's crossed my mind.
