About Me

ABOUT ME

I like to meet new people and like to hear new ideas about life and how people go about it. I think of myself as easy going and I like to experience new things and try things and have a good time while doing it. Many people say I'm a very easy going person and gets along with pretty much everyone.

PHILOSOPHY

Create a positive influence to as many people as possible while being open minded so that I can grow as much as possible and develop with the people that I meet. I think that nobody knows the exact way to live life correctly, so i find it important if you are trying to learn new ways to do life better. If you're not comfortable, that means you are growing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a number of times and each time has totally been a positive experience and I have grown so much in my way of living. It is such a great way to travel and meet people from the culture that you are visiting or if you are hosting, its a great way to learn about a new culture.

Interests

I like to travel, see new things, and experience new things. Cooking is a large interest of mine as I have graduated with degree in Restaurant Management and have always wanted to open my own restaurant. I enjoy good conversation, create new experiences, I enjoy going out and meeting new people that can have impacts on me. I am a snowboarder in the winter time and trail run, hike, backpack, and pursue many other adventures in the summertime.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have been a big fan of Mumford and Sons lately. Old Crow Medicine show, The Lumineers, Texas country, Tuba Skinny, Red Hot Chili Peppers among many other musicians make the list.

My favorite movie to watch is Forest Gump, due to his simple and loving way of life, but I dont watch many movies overall, but its all relative, right?

I like reading probably more non-fiction than fiction, but that doesnt mean I dont like a good fiction book. I have been reading a lot of Jon Krakauer lately. Books that inspire me to create more experiences are my kinds of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say the most amazing thing I've done has been climbing the Middle Teton four years after falling down it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Psychology, cooking, restaurant management, Texas culture, religion, and philosophy. I feel that I am rather nonjudgmental and can have a good conversation with many people. I enjoy cooking and sharing my knowledge of cooking with new places I am traveling to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Many people say that I carry many positive waves with me. My nickname at work is Mr. Sunshine. I like to have a good time and create a positive atmosphere so that many people are happy around me.
