I’m starting my second wave of traveling the world. The first wave was primarily alone but now I’m ready to show the world to my children. CS has given me lots of really cool experiences and shown me how many fun and welcoming people live everywhere. I hope to give my children a more varied and positive view on our world as a contrast to what is shown in the media.

I love learning about how other people live their life and find it interesting how we share so many similarities across borders and cultures.

Currently I’m working in a factory, producing ropes and slings for heavy lifting, but I have previously worked as a physiotherapist and clinic manager. With lots of responsibility for other people and not enough care for myself, I ended up with a rather long sick leave due to stress. It taught me a lot and has made me live my life a bit slower - which I enjoy quite a bit more than the fast paced life.

For more than a decade I have been paragliding and flying with a powered paraglider. I enjoy cooking and have been learning to drink (and enjoy) wine as I have gotten older.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a bit when I lived in Greenland. Surfed in Finland, Moscow, Ukraine and NZ. I'm new to surfing with my kids, but looking forward to it!
