ABOUT ME
I
:: am a true believer in fate and pre-determined paths
:: eat hummus with every meal, and go through withdrawal if I don't
:: love urbanism, but grow nostalgic when in the countryside
:: drink my whiskey with lime
:: am always up for a late-night 24 hour diner run
:: research, but do not plan. Spontaneity is key.
:: plan to learn the six UN languages plus Polish and Korean by the time I die
:: despise technology
:: get the occasional bout of separation anxiety
:: have never been west of Pennsylvania, but plans on changing that this summer
:: am terrified of water, but love water sports
:: am a Liverpool fan despite my inability to keep up with the stats
:: will one day own a Great Dane
:: live for summer night drives accompanied by an eclectic soundtrack
:: believe that whomever we meet, we meet for a reason
:: is finally starting to get over his perfectionism
:: live by the phrase, "shit happens"
:: love a nice daggering here and there
PHILOSOPHY
Still trying to figure this one out: "Shit Happens"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CouchSurfing is an UNPARALLELED way to see a new place. The majority of hosts take pride in their home and city, so they will gladly show you all of the hidden wonders that would be impossible to find when accommodated in a hostel.
My most memorable CouchSurfing experience was in Toronto, Canada. My friend and I needed to save a little bit of money for two nights and a local CouchSurfer took us in. Because of him, we rode bikes around the city, found the coolest dive bars and clubs, and saw the most impressive of sites.
I have not had many other experiences, but it is time to start expanding my CouchSurfing visits!
