ABOUT ME

I am a 22-year old American woman currently spending a year in Johannesburg, South Africa on a research grant from the U.S. government (thanks, U.S. government!).

I love sarcasm, trains, good sentences, strong coffee, and hearing my non-American friends do American accents (do we really sound like that??). When I grow up I want to be Tina Fey. Or Truman Capote. Or maybe both of them.
