My name Ryan Mc Dermott - I'm an Irish couchsurfer and love to travel yearly.

I've plenty of experience with couchsurfing, and have used it to travel the world and tour city after city.
I have - so far on my short journey - to cities such as California, New York City, Oregon, Florida, and currently am staying in Ohio right now.

For European cities, London, Paris, Berlin, and others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason I love couchsurfing is down to the fact you get to meet all sorts of authentic people from all over the world, which is hard to do when you just check into a hotel and are not sure about the people there, or the city around you,. That's why couchsurfing is amazing; the host is the best knowledgeable guide.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to the United States for a three month adventure throughout summer of 2013. HUGE learning experience during the time, something to this day that has shaped me to be a better tourist and approach to dealing with life.
