ABOUT ME

I am from Alaska and identify with it as my state, my country and my home. I've been spoiled by it's beauty and stunning scenery, finding myself permanently drawn to mountains and water. However, I am also drawn to the wonders scattered throughout this earth in places, people, and cultures. I'm addicted to the discoveries, the adventures, and the amazing relationships found through travel. By experiencing and embracing diversity, I find overwhelming amounts of similarities, our roots all connected.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has important stories and magical adventures to share. Oh and the whole six degrees of separation concept...maybe plus or minus a few numbers...but yes, intrinsic interconnectedness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done a bit of couchsurfing in South America and spent several weeks couchsurfing in Europe. I've had a fabulous, enriching time throughout my experiences. I look forward to more chances to couchsurf and host.

The concepts behind Couchsurfing pretty much continue to blow my mind in the best of ways and restore my faith in humanity and generosity time and time again.

Interests

Wandering, exploring, and adventuring within nature, cities, towns, outer space, art, my mind, your mind, education, and the likes. I love creating, cooking, reading, writing, playing and am trying to designate time and space for these activities in the sometimes hectic life of a college student. I also love music, a good dance party, parades, dinosaurs, mustaches, coincidences, water, mountains, skill/story trades, laughing till my face hurts, and of course good company along for it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Through both Couchsurfing and traveling in general I have seen the incredible amounts of sheer compassion and generosity from other human beings that were once "strangers." I've especially noticed this living and exploring India, where I feel as though there's always something or someone looking out for me or wanting to be a friend-truly a place of amazing manifestations and treasures.
