ABOUT ME

If we asked your best friends... Well that would vary widely. I'll just say what I think might be useful to know about me as I currently am. In short, I am changing all the time. But we all are. What seems to stay rather constant is my honesty and goodwill. I am a true believer in community and creativity. Genius is seeing opportunities to make everything better and finding the courage to act upon them and see them through.

As such my chosen profession is that of a Designer. I spend my waking hours trying to meet as many people as possible so I can learn about them and get ever closer to mastering empathy. This is how I change the world little by little: I make small changes around me that resonate from each person I touch. If I inspire others to do the same all the better.

Epic sounding intros aside, I am actually very easy to get along with. I'm pretty independent and adventurous. I'm also low to no maintenance since I never expect or feel entitled to anything. I just live life trying to become more free every day. Simple as that.

PHILOSOPHY

When I am at my bravest I am in Love with the world. My mission is to supplant fear with love and courage.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not new to CS but this is the first time I've actually officially used it. The first "unofficial" time was on my first trip to Seattle where I couchsurfed. It was a very enlightening experience and I was moved profoundly by the kindness I received from this stranger whom I'd only stayed with for one day.

Since then I've been thinking it would be amazing to repeat the experience. So here goes.

Centres d'intérêt

I like a good plan because it lets me organize the logistics around how I am going to rock the boat. I'm not the sort who plays it safe or takes things by default. Therefore my ultimate drug is new relations and travel. There is little else in life that excites me. For an Industrial Designer I actually own very little. Expect me to arrive with next to no luggage and don't assume that I will spend hours shopping; not when there is adventure to be had! I live for the present so I can concentrate on the experience. So I keep open minded and try to walk on the wild side whenever I can.
