My current mission is to see everything in Central, Eastern Europe and Russia and learn as much as I can about these areas.

A little bit about me:

I was born in Houston, Texas but I am currently a student at the George Washington University in Washington DC. I am studying International Relations and Diplomacy with a particular focus on Russia and the post-soviet union.

My personal philosophy is that the best part of traveling is the conversations you have with people from different places. It doesn't take much to have a drastically different perspective on life and it's a personal goal of mine to hear about and experience these perspectives first hand as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently only couch surfing myself and meeting up with travelers because I don't have a place to host but I would love to host in Washington DC and Texas in the near future.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of film especially bad horror movies, Russian literature (Dostoevsky!), Any music of course but my current obsession is Balkan music.

I like Hip Hop the most but I also enjoy Indie rock as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Prague is probably the most livable city I have ever lived in. Everything about it I enjoy.

The most amazing city I have been in is Istanbul Turkey with its beautiful Mosques and the melding of Eastern and Western culture

I am an expert of English if I do say so myself--I may not be an expert of TEACHING English but I will definitely try as long as I can learn some of your native tongue as well!

I very much want to learn Russian so if you are Russian and I request to stay on your couch get ready for me using my limited amount on you....it may be quite annoying
