ABOUT ME

I am a simple person who likes to smile often.
After studying at OSU I worked at a consulting firm as a civil engineer designing streets, water and sewer systems in mostly rural communities. I quit to join the peace corps after two years.
I served in Bolivia and then signed up again to serve in Honduras for another 2 years.
I am back in the USA spending time with my family working on our property and as a house painter.

PHILOSOPHY

I encourage myself to listen closely, being quiet enough to pay attention to myself and to others.
Traveling is a great way to experience different cultures and in turn better understand our own.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just a beginner. I joined to be a host to travelers while I was living in Honduras.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The little experience I have has been positive. In the Peace Corps I traveled quite often and stayed with volunteers all over the country.
