ABOUT US
Ryan and I are avid travelers and apparently very like minded - both of us were backpacking solo in Southeast Asia when we ran into each other in Phnom Penh Cambodia in 2011. I thought, who is that scruffy boy, he looks oh so interesting, let's flash him a smile - he took the bait and we made instant friends! We are getting married this November 2015 in the middle of a grand cross country US road trip and will continue onward to China to take up English teaching in the new year. Between us we have lived in four countries and visited over 20. And we won't slow down anytime soon!
I'm Kansas born and bred and Ryan's a lad from Lancashire England.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment we're gearing up for our 6 week long road trip around the US. We're starting in New England and heading west, and though we don't plan to couchsurf the entire time we were hoping to encounter some lovely people who could open their homes to us as we make our way.

Interests

Siena - Comparing flights online even if I have no intention of buying tickets. Hot yoga, books with sad endings, massage therapy (it's what I do professionally), dancing, and green living.

Ryan - Any sport that existed ever, a range of TV series, reading up on many-a-pointless thing and using this knowledge to assist in winning the occasional quiz!

I think we both enjoy laying around and doing nothing as much as we enjoy traveling. We also enjoy hikes/being outdoors, cooking/eating (!!!), drinking from time to time, and meeting new people. We exercise moderately but we don't like it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Siena - I enjoy all music except for really blatant gospel, depressing EDM, and thrash metal. Currently listening to a bit of ambiant electro. I read mostly fiction but enjoy the occasional non fiction or autobiographical book.

Ryan - Mainly drum n bass but occasionally branching out to other genres when im feeling frisky. Mostly non fiction reads, sports, history, science, geography and on and on...

We love telling stories and hearing about the cool things other people have done. We also love to cook and would be happy to regale you with tales over a meal or drinks.
