About Me

People often describe me as a creative thinker who enjoys exploring unique perspectives and finding alternative solutions to challenges. I approach life with curiosity and an open mind, always eager to learn and grow.

I’m the kind of person who genuinely enjoys giving and helping others—it’s something that brings me joy. While I’m naturally talkative and outgoing, I also deeply value listening and providing thoughtful advice when it’s wanted.

Building and maintaining meaningful connections is important to me. I take pride in keeping friendships alive, even those that began 15 or 20 years ago. I believe in holding onto the good in people and moving past the negatives, which is why I never delete people from my life. I prefer to focus on kindness, understanding, and creating lasting bonds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and immersing myself in different cultures. I truly believe that everyone has something unique to teach and something valuable to learn—perhaps that belief is what drew me here in the first place, who knows?

Exploring new places with locals always feels more meaningful than doing it alone. Why would I ever say no to someone who’s willing to share their world with me, expecting nothing in return but genuine friendship?

While I’ve never hosted anyone or stayed on someone’s couch, I genuinely enjoy meeting up and connecting over shared experiences. For me, it’s the best way to create memorable moments and build lasting connections.

Interests

I’m an active and adventurous person who loves pushing my limits. I’ve recently started Hyrox, and I’m already hooked on the mix of strength and endurance it offers. Alongside that, I enjoy CrossFit and trail ultrarunning—running has become such a core part of my life that I can’t imagine a day without it.

When I’m not sweating it out, I’m often in the kitchen experimenting with cooking and baking, which I find both creative and relaxing. I’m also a huge fan of anime, proving that age doesn’t matter when it comes to enjoying a good story.

I have a passion for board games and love challenging myself with anything involving math or puzzles. Whether it’s tackling a long trail, perfecting a new recipe, or solving a tricky problem, I’m always up for something that keeps me engaged and excited.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music, and my playlist changes with my mood—anything from energetic beats to soothing melodies, depending on the day.

Movies I Love----
12 Angry Men (1957): A timeless masterpiece that reminds us of the dangers of ignorance, especially when it goes unnoticed.
It’s a Wonderful Life (1946): A heartfelt message from the past: hold on, and never give up, no matter how tough life gets.
Grave of the Fireflies (1988): A hauntingly beautiful anime that portrays the devastating impact of war like no other. It’s the saddest story I’ve ever encountered.
Dead Poets Society (1989): A moving coming-of-age story about finding your voice, embracing creativity, and discovering the beauty in life.
Dogville (2003): A bold and unique film with a devastating finale that leaves a lasting impression—truly a must-see.

TV Series I Enjoy: Lucifer, Stranger Things, Dexter, Dark, Ozark, How I Met Your Mother, Coupling, House of the Dragon
Favorite Anime: One Piece, One Punch Man, Spy x Family, Great Teacher Onizuka, Ousama Ranking, Kimetsu no Yaiba

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve run an incredible 120 km on a trail through unpaved paths in nature—yes, without any sleep, and I completed it in 17 hours! It was a challenging yet exhilarating experience that tested my endurance and determination.

I’m also proud to be a Spartan Ultra Elite Finisher, conquering one of the toughest races in the world. It’s a test of running endurance, strength, and the ability to tackle demanding obstacles—a true adventure for body and mind.

Looking ahead, my craziest challenge will likely be in 2025: UTMB. It’s a legendary 175 km race with over 10,000 meters of elevation gain. It’s the ultimate test, and I’m excited to see how far I can push myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m an engineer with multiple degrees, which means I have plenty of knowledge to share—but I’m equally excited to learn from you! I’m deeply interested in Asian culture, especially their incredible cuisine. I’ve mastered dishes like donburi, onigiri, oyakodon, and nikujaga, and I like to think I’m a pretty good cook! Sharing food and cooking are some of my favorite ways to connect with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To be honest, I don’t usually stay with hosts, but I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to teach you some cooking tips or just hang out and listen to your stories—I’m a pretty good listener! Who knows, if the vibe is right and I’m feeling adventurous, I might even consider staying for a night.
