About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Backpacking through Europe. Just visited France, now in Copenhagen. Next destination: Aarhus, Denmark.

Eat all the things!

ABOUT ME

I'm a very easy-going fellow that takes life how it comes and makes the best of it.

A little update: I was living in China teaching English to kindergarten students but now I'm a music teacher in South Korea spanning the range of K to 12.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've heard about the amazing community of couch surfers and have decided I want to try it too!

Interests

Lately, I've been spending lots of time playing with my shih-tzu Timmy. Aside from that, I enjoy spending my time between reading books and online blurbs, watching my backlog of movies or playing my backlog of video games that has slowly built up over the years. I try keeping my mind sharp with crossword puzzles and the occasional algebra problem (I know...).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I lived in Japan, at the springtime, they have an annual cherry blossom festival which I had no clue about. I noticed the trees looking gorgeous with this pinkish-whitish hue as the festival neared. The day of, there was this calm wind that picked the cherry blossom petals off the trees and made them dance slowly to the ground. It was stunning.

I wasn't the biggest fan of them, but I was persuaded to witness Coldplay perform live in San Jose. They handed each audience member a nylon wristband and instructed everyone to wear. Before Coldplay took the stage, everyone had the same reaction as lights began emitting from the wristbands. There were lights of green, white, blue, pink, and orange dotting the whole HP Pavilion. I would definitely go watch Coldplay live again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been learning magic card tricks for about a month after forgetting about my interest in it as a child. I also love words: I enjoy solving crossword puzzles and creating them (which includes the game Scrabble) as well as being a stickler for grammar (ESPN comment boards are the bane of my existence).
