ABOUT ME
I am Ph.D. Student in Nagoya University majoring in Governance and Law. I used to do a lot of outdoor activities like mountaineering, hiking, camping etc. But these days I am immersed in my studies. I have an interest in classical western history and from time to time and read books of such kind. I was born and raised in the Philippines but came to Japan in 2009 to live with my family who has immigrated here in Japan.

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to meet and talk with people from all over the world and from different walks of life.

兴趣

I used to hike, camp and do mountain climbing a lot before I went to grad-school.
I am also interested in classical western history. I do read classical western history from time to time.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the winter of 2013, I climbed a mountain here in Japan with a friend of mine for 4 days. Winter in Japan is very cold, let alone climbing a mountain in the dead of winter, however, I can say that it was one of the most memorable and amazing things I have done in my life. I will always remember the moment when I was out of our tent, drinking coffee while looking at the snow-capped mountains illuminated by moonlight.

I studied Japanese Language and majored in Japanese Studies in my undergrad and because of it I can speak advance Japanese and can talk some stuff about Japan. I had taught Japanese to foreign students here in Japan for around 4 years so I have an experience in teaching Japanese. I can teach Japanese to those who are interested in learning it.

What I can share with hosts are the stories of my travels in other countries and the outdoor trips that I have done in Japan. I can also cook some Filipino dishes.
