ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Ryota, an international student from Japan. I'm a very positive and outgoing person. I basically try whatever I'm interested in.
I'm studying business at community college in Washington State. I've been staying in the US for almost 2 years. I'm going to graduate from community college in this summer, so I only have a half year to stay here, which is really sad. After going back to Japan, I want to start a new business with my friend.
I had played baseball for 12 years before I came here. I love any kinds of sports. Recently, I'm playing tennis with my host family and getting much better! I also play table tennis, soccer, badminton, basketball, and so on!
I like to travel, too. I love to see beautiful things, share cultures with people from different countries, and become friends with a lot of people!
PHILOSOPHY
"Where there is a will there is a way"
When I left Japan for the US, my best friends gave me a photo stand. This saying was written on the photo stand.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music. My favorite artists are Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Flo Rida, Eminem, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, P!nk, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, for example.
I also watch movies. My most favorite movie is Edward Scissorhands.
Since I'm not a good reader, I don't read books a lot. But I liked IQBAL, which I read when I was taking an ESL(English as a Second Language) before starting college.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever had is to live with my current host family! I was kinda scared of living with others before I came to the US. However, they are so nice to me and give me a good time every day!
People usually change their hosts or move out from the host soon. But we are just like a real family and lived together almost a year and half. I'm proud of my family in the US.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really new to Couchsurfing. Thus, I want to learn a lot about this from current users.
