Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Happy to offer my wisdom from previous travels and put up other surfers while I'm set up in Vancouver. I always look up members in my travels to see if there are some friendly CS'ers and perhaps a couch too along the way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had my first CS experience in San Francisco, CA on a short visit - great stay there and definitely made a new friend. Since then have stayed on a few couches on various travels around the US west coast and hosted a few travellers here in Vancouver. I also participate occasionally with the local CS community.

Music, Movies, and Books
So many movies that I've still to watch... what's on your list? I watched the Visitor recently, that was pretty good.
The Constantines, Spoon, Jurassic 5, Daft Punk, The Sadies, The Rapture, Feist, Afro Beat, my band the Carnival Band! All the other street bands out there that I've met at Honk! Festivals.
Shantaram, Shogun, My Heart Is Africa, Summer of My Amazing Luck, Life of Pi, The Omnivore's Dilemma
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked solo to the top of the Sierra Nevada, Mulhacen and Veleta, the two highest peaks in mainland Spain, about 1900 m gained in a day.
Saw the wondrous ruins of Machu Pichu.
