Overview
About Me
I am currently waiting for my university to start! Went to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, once with my friend(it's truly a wonderful place) who introduced couchsurfing to me and I fell in love with the concept.
I was born in Japan but migrated to Singapore with my family when I was very young. Ever since, I was brought up in Singapore going to local schools, hanging out with Singaporean friends. I was even conscripted to Singapore army due to the permanent citizenship I have for 2 years!
What I want to do now is to travel to as many places and experience as many things while I am still young. Climbing to see the Machu Picchu, riding trans-siberian railway across Russia, marvelling the aurora are currently on my bucket list!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am using couchsurf because meeting locals and living like locals of the area will allow me to understand the lifestyle of the people there at a level deeper. Instead of just staying in hotel, I would love to interact and know more about your city and country while offering my knowledge about my area!
Moreover, I am in love with couchsurfing and how it is making me a better person. As I am treated so nicely by hosts who has no obligation to do such things, I have the urge to be nicer to others as well. And it becomes a beautiful cycle where you just keep becoming a better version of yourself with a bigger heart.
We can just chit chat over a beer or something and just explore possible places that you may want go since we have a common interest: travelling:)
Interests
I am interested in exploring the area and sharing about my life in Singapore while listening to yours.
I also love baseball. I follow Japanese professional league. My knowledge of major league is a little shallow but when it comes to Japanese players in major league I'll know them really well.
And how can we forget travelling. Its so liberating when you are on the road, just living the moment and letting things happen by itself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Serving the army:). I must tell you it's an extremely unpleasant experience but there are bits and pieces of funny and enjoyable moments.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am able to teach Japanese (I am as fluent as a local in Japan) and some basic Chinese. We can also learn from each other just talking about our lives!
I am willing to learn almost anything. Whether it is cooking or music or a new language.
I can share with you about my life so far. Though I'm only 21, I lived in Singapore with a Japanese family so I can share with you about the 2 countries. I can also share with you my travel experiences so far:)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Teaching Japanese and Chinese, dishwashing, cleaning, carrying some heavy load (I'm still young haha). I can always offer some hard labours or whatever a young men can offer.
