I’m a 24-year-old PhD student currently living in California, USA. I’m looking for hosts interested in giving recommendations for cool, under-known things to do in their locations, and perhaps even enjoying a hike or other activity together. I love books, especially speculative, hybrid genre/experimental work, and/or poetry and poetics. My favorite poets/authors include Virginia Woolf, Samuel R Delany, China Miéville, Kim Hyesoon, Becky Chambers, James Baldwin, and Emma Donoghue. Talk to me about obscure books from presses I’ve never heard of. Give me music and movies of the same kind.

I love to recommend books and enjoy movies with people. I’m also always looking to go hiking and otherwise adventuring with hosts interested in that, as well as trying different vegan recipes.
