I love rap, from Slick Rick to Danny Brown to Chief Keef and everything in between. I also really like singer-songwriters like Warren Zevon, John Prine, and Bob Dylan. I love every genre though. Whether it's Manu Chao, Peter Tosh, Elvis, or Herbie Hancock, I like it all. Always on the hunt for music from the countries I’m visiting, too. Send suggestions!

For movies, I love Apocalypse Now, End of Evangelion, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Nutty Professor (Eddie Murphy version), Shaun of the Dead, Ghost World, and many John Ford movies like Grapes of Wrath. Cinema is my passion! Would love to get movie recommendations from your country or city :)

Comics are my passion. If you’ve never read one, I can give you a great recommendation. Generally, I love Watchmen, Maus, Persepolis, Fun Home, Dark Knight Returns, and many other comics. I also love old sci-fi like Frankenstein or Island of Dr. Moreau. And I just finished Moby Dick!

In 2022, I did my first road trip, from Massachusetts to every state in the Deep South. I was lucky enough to hear live music from genres associated with each state; bluegrass in the mountains, Nashville country, Mississippi blues, New Orleans jazz, etc.
