Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. The last film I watched was Resnais´ Hiroshima mon amour, I really, really enjoyed Hesse´s Narcissus and Goldmund and currently my playlist includes random face-melting music as well as Saint-Saens, Eric Dolphy, John Coltrane, Gang Starr, The Beatles, Dr. Dog, Lee Fields and Otis Redding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the pigeon races in Jakarta, Indonesia as the chief of police arranged the bets and, as I learned later, fixed the races. No matter. I would have given the shirt off my back for the experience. Coincidentally, I made a desperate wager on the last race and lost the shirt off my back.
