For now,I'm better at hosting than being hosted...

I went to South America and I've been hosted by three different families and I loved it!I was also hosted during my last trip to Croatia and was such a great experience. My trip wouldn't have been the same without meeting those Couch surfing fellows..

Share, learn and talk about everything.. Meeting people like this and learn to know them has been the best way to know myself...

Interests

Oh! That's the tricky question... My interests... well everything that is interesting! I am everywhere, I am the most "non-put-together" and scattered person I've ever met. But, it makes me try a lot of thing, which is good, don't you think?

I've been volunteer for Plan Nagua, Carrefour-Tiers Monde and the Red Cross.. This is really what I like to fight for and what keeps me alive: environmental causes, fair trade,...I'd like to do some emergency aid in a underdeveloped country. I made an internship in the Dominicains, 5 months working with a small coffee producer organization.

I also like walking around, get lost...doing snowshoe. I'm not the most athletic girl, but I like to stay active.. I love Crazy Carpet :P!!!! Painting as well, read... movies and cook... be involved in a group. I like to TRAVEL, exchange, talk of course... lose my keys.. I'm trying to learn to play guitar and to speak Arabic

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen diferent types of music: right now in my Mp3 player: Mirah, Neutral Milk Hotel, Arcade Fire Leonard Cohen, Beirut, Modest Mouse, Joni Mitchell' karkwa... folk, indie, rock...
As for the books, I'm interested in books that make me travel and dream.. I like Amin Maalouf, Amélie Nothomb, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Umberto Eco, Isabelle Allende, Hemminway,...I don't have any favorite book, depending how I feel I like comic books.

Those are the movies I can watch third time in a row, without getting annoyed: Memento, Little Miss Sunshine, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Doctor Strange Love and problably a lot more that I don't remember.. I loved 4 rooms, have you seen that?
Or the famous godfather "take the Cannoli, leave the gun" hahaha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a shower in the tropical rain, in a small village of the middle of nowhere,.. was awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can someone teach me how to respect a schedule??? I would love to find someone to teach me Arabic.. and an expert kayaker to show me!
