About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning Spanish and German
ABOUT ME
I was raised in london, paris and dublin and completed my engineering and architecture studies in Edinburgh. After spending some time skiing/snowboarding in switzerland and learning spanish on organic farms in Spain, I moved to Aberdeen in Scotland where I've worked for the past 3 years. I now once again find myself at a crossroad as I look to relocate and try my hand at something different. I think my personality reflects a mix of cultures and influences and I tend to be sportive, open-minded, and curious!
PHILOSOPHY
Be present. Make love. Make tea. Avoid small talk. Embrace conversation. Buy a plant, water it. Make your bed. Make someone else's bed. Have a smart mouth, and quick wit. Run. make art. Create. Swim in the ocean. Swim in the rain. Take chances. Ask questions. Make mistakes. Learn. Know your worth. Love fiercely. Forgive quickly. Let go of what doesn't make you happy. Grow.
Paulo Coelho.

Interests
Like many couchsurfing members I am a fond traveler and get an acute case of itchy feet if in the one place for too long. I'm a very keen sportsman, remain sane by keeping active and try to read as much as I can. Music and food are integral parts of my life, although I'm not particularly gifted at producing either. I'm learning spanish and german and aspiring to write more fluently in english and french.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all types of music, currently reading some Hemingway and I tend to favour independent cinema over international blockbusters - big fan of the Coen Brothers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking for 5 days in the Grand Canyon after living it up in Vegas! One extreme to another.
Or doing the highest bungy jump in the world a few months after breaking my legs in three places. I genuinely thought my leg might snap which definitely added to the thrill..
