ABOUT ME

Became addicted to being "abroad" from the getgo, wherever that is or will be. The Germans have a beautiful word for this: "fernweh" - meaning so much as always wanting to be abroad, traveling, discovering. I've lived in, traveled to and visited different countries, but still have a long list of places I want to go. After graduating, I moved to London, then to Geneva and finally to Berlin. I just came back to Belgium after 10 years and right now I am trying to figure out what is next :-)

PHILOSOPHY

...about traveling: The best way to discover a new place is with somebody who lives there. That's why I love CS: leave your map at home and just go, get lost in small streets, stumble upon hidden spots you would never discover all alone. For me a trip is successful if I come back from a place, feeling like I understand the town and bring a little part of it back home through my experience...
