About Me

你好-안녕하새요-привет-hallo-
Bonjour-Здраво-salut

🔜Afghanistan➡️Tajikistan➡️Azerbaijan➡️Saudia➡️Uae➡️Iran

Hey I’m Sahir Saeed Ali, a 22-year-old backpacker & traveler from Pakistan who left behind university study to discover the world. For the past 4 years, I’ve been exploring, learning, and living life beyond what the media shows or what I grew up hearing from family & others.

I believe that life begins where your comfort zone ends. That’s why I love going to crazy, remote places and embracing the unknown. Traveling isn’t just a passion for me, it’s a way of life. I thrive on going to crazy, off-the-beaten-path places and feel most alive during extreme travel adventures. Hitchhiking is my favorite way to get around, and I always carry my camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, and mattress), which makes me self-sufficient. All I ever need is a small space or a roof, as I truly believe:

"Sky is my roof,
Earth is my bed,
Where I go is my home."

I’m a curious, social, and talkative person who loves meeting new people from all walks of life. Whether it’s chatting with strangers on a bus, bantering with vendors, or asking for directions just to spark a conversation, I find joy in connecting with others. The more people I meet, the more they become part of my journey.

People often call me brave, but honestly, I just trust others and use a little courage to get started. Hospitality and kindness mean much more to me than luxury ever could.

One of my favorite ways to connect with others is through food! If you’re curious to try authentic Pakistani cuisine, I’d be more than happy to cook for you. From spicy curries to flavorful rice dishes, I’d love to share a taste of my culture with you. In return, I’d love to try your local dishes or learn about the food traditions in your part of the world.

I’m also fascinated by languages and cultures. Over the past two years, I’ve taught myself Korean and Chinese, and I’m happy to share what I’ve learned. If you’d like, I can teach you some basic phrases or help you practice. In return, I’d love for you to teach me a word or two in your language!

I’m always eager to help other travelers, especially those exploring my home country, Pakistan, as a way of giving back for all the kindness I’ve received on my journey. I strongly believe in karma and the importance of sharing the goodness we experience with others.

Since September 2021, I’ve been documenting my adventures on my YouTube channel, *Nomad Sahir*. Through my videos, I aim to show the world something different from what the media portrays. Traveling has taught me to look beyond stereotypes and truly connect with people and places for what they are.

I’m always looking forward to meeting new people, sharing travel stories, and creating incredible memories. If you have space for a curious, adventurous, and positive traveler, I’d love to be part of your journey, even if just for a little while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I hangout with the same friends, how can I get the new idea and inspiration.

The South, North have their own distinct cultures and almost every state has carved out its own cultural niche. There is hardly any culture in the world that is as varied and unique as pakistan.
Teach:
I can tell you about some hitchhiking tips and some unwritten rule of hitchhiking.

I can teach you about "juggad" system in pakistan and other random things what I know.

I can also teach you Urdu,Hindi,Pashtu, korean, chinese or my mother tongue Punjabi and some other regional language what I know if you are interested in it but it is one of the weirdest languages.

I am always curious to know the other culture. I also can tell you about every Pakistani culture where i have been.
