About Me
ABOUT ME
Always a bit of a challenge to summarize yourself, but here goes!
We are Sam and Yuri, a married couple currently living in Japan. I (Sam) am originally from the U.S., and Yuri is from Japan.
We'll be in Bangkok for a little bit of time, and would love to meet up with other like-minded people to visit a cafe with, etc.
Neither of us drink alcohol. We're not sticklers on this (meaning you do you, we do not care), but simply say this as bars would be out.
We both speak Japanese and English fluently.
Yuri is studying French and I am working on Spanish.
I do not want to speak for her, but my Spanish is currently at a level where I can name several different types of fruit. If you want to have a proper conversation, a broken conversation, or something that kind of resembles a conversation...All of those options are unfortunately not on the table for my Spanish.
If, however, you want to work together in drafting a small component of a grocery list for your next visit to Mexico, Columbia, or Spain... Well, I am your man. Do not hold back here. This power is too much for one body to contain. La manzana.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A night in the Sahara, complete with incredibly sweet mint tea and me being scared of walking in the desert at night. "We can find our way back" -- Not this overly scared man! I will keep the tent and its aforementioned sugary mint tea within eyesight, thank you very much.
It was stunningly beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
A bit of Japanese and/or English, I suppose. Yuri plays violin and I play piano and guitar, but these are a little hard to teach while just meeting up. I feel like the cafe owners would: A) Consider it an interruption to their business, and B) Likely not have instruments on hand in the first place.
Really though, we're up to chat about almost anything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We're just looking to meet up at the moment, but when I did surf...
"Groceries, thoughts, some random stuff. I will do your dishes like they have never been done before. That ended up sounding slightly threatening."
