ABOUT ME

i find it fascinating what the first thought is someone has when they are asked about themselves. how do you define yourself? - your job, your hobbies, your character?

as you can see, i think too much ;). i studied electronic engineering - doing my masters degree in satellite control systems. i developed multispectral imaging systems to facilitate satellite orientation. ask me if you really want to know more... ;) i love calculus, building things and solving problems.

i also have a bachelors degree in music - classical guitar performance and music theory. after i finished my studies i joined a very successful band in south africa and spent a few years touring the world, ending up in florida, usa. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i dont participate as much as i would like to. i'm currently living with two roomates, so i dont really have the freedom to host people as often as i would like (every weekend ;). but i definitely have a couch available and i LOVE meeting people of interesting and diverse cultures.

i also travel often, and would like to use couchsurfing to meet people and find accommodation more in future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

as of yet, very little. i have had quite a few people stay with me, but none ive met through couchsurfing. all off them have been incredible experiences. i look forward to hosting more travellers in the years to come.
