About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live, love and be free.

ABOUT ME

Majoring in Economics, learning Finance by the side. Still haven't a clue what to make a career in.
Musicphile. Once a big fan of the Doors and everything belonging to the 60s.
Amateur (read complete noob) blogger.
Twitter addict.
Love to travel, and finally starting to indulge in it.
Find me a good pub, a couple good beers and good company to keep and I think I am good to go.

PHILOSOPHY

Take it as it comes, and live in the moment. You are here today, not there tomorrow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think I finally have time on my hands now to do a little surfing - an idea I really loved! So, I'm looking for good places to see, new surfers to meet and new experiences to soak in!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have CouchSurfed with a few people in India. Met a few people for beers/coffee. Whatever little experience I've had with CouchSurfers, it has been great! This concept really brings everyone closer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, Guy Ritchie, Danny Boyle, Anurag Kashyap movies. Anything cult.
Music - Classic rock over everything else. Funk, but not punk. RHCP is my major favourite. Electronic. Everything goes, I guess.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This would have be this one night stay at this beach in Ivory Coast. The place was around 19 kilometres into the forest from the small town of Sassandra. When I reached there in the evening, we found only 20 people inhabiting a 1 kilometre stretch of beach, living in hutments without electricity. I stayed with them for 2 days and it was a brilliant experience. I got row their slim canoes, go fishing with them, explore forests for cocoa plantations, got to have cocoa fruits.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you come to my city, or my country, I could give you pointers at what to do and what not. Heck, if you come to my city, I'll show you around! I can teach you my language.
I am all ears to anything new that you know and I don't. A new band, some history trivia, how they make bread differently in your country than mine, a new recipe, a new drink that makes you go bonkers. Anything!
I just got a new camera. Still learning to use it. Would love to learn some tips and tricks!
