ABOUT ME
I'm Saalim, 21, a recently graduated student of French from England and now looking to go into teaching in September. I was born and have lived all my life (until recently) in Eastbourne, a small town in the South of England. But a few years ago I moved to Manchester to go to University and also spent a year of that time living in Paris. I'm a very relaxed and easy-going person and love exploring new cultures and countries
PHILOSOPHY
'he not busy being born is busy dying'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Relatively new to CS, only surfed once and haven't hosted yet. But I plan to get involved much more and host quite a bit in Manchester next year
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have been Couchsurfing once with my friends who were midway through a trip where they drove to Kazakhstan and back from England! I met them in Turkey for the final part of their journey and so we couchsurfed in Bulgaria. It was an amazing experience as we were taken up into the mountains by our hosts to a great party. It was a brilliant night and since then I have desperately wanted to expand my couchsurfing experience.
Interests
I love traveling and everything that comes with it,the beautiful scenery, the differing cultures and languages, the fantastic diversity in food, and, most of all, the people! I also love sports especially football (support Chelsea) and I love music. I play a little guitar and drums but mainly love listening to it and going to music festivals.
